Freelance designerFor her graduation at the design academy Eindhoven(2004)
she specialized in developing designs based on upgrading
materials from industrial waste products. With a focus on
the industrial waste dust, because this seems like the most
worthless material and there is a real question on how to
upgrade this by a design.
This resulted in ´the beauty of the insignificant´ a series of felt
carpets made out of the industrial left-over wool-dust.
The fascination for upcycling worthless materials (micro-parts)
create a work methode where crafts play an important role.
Now based in a studio (with workshop) in Rotterdam she
works on assignments and self-initiated concepts, these have
often derived from topics associated with social development.
