design beauty of the insignificant
Series of carpets made out of wool-dust (industrial waste from the production of bed sheets). Produced by felting process, this is done by 3 times washing of the dust into textile sheets in the washing machine. How to use the most worthless material with the input of almost no energy. The project received an honourable mention in the sustainable design award 2005, this award is a collaberation between Dyson and the design academy Eindoven.
