beauty of the insignificant
Series of carpets made out of
wool-dust (industrial waste from the production of bed sheets). Produced by felting process, this is done by 3 times washing of the dust into textile sheets in the washing machine. How to use the most worthless material with the input of almost no energy. Exhibited among others:

The project received an honourable mention in the sustainable design award 2005, this award is a collaberation between Dyson and the design academy Eindoven.
