Series of felt carpets (in blue, white, red, brown) and curtains, made out of industrial left-overs from the production of bed-sheets. Produced by felting process, this is done by 3 times washing of the dust into textile sheets in the washing machine. How to use the most worthless material with the input of almost no energy.

Hand painted and re-fired second hand table-ware with industrial landscapes, like the Rotterdam harbour.

To honour the light bulb and it´s re-placers. Because (in short) in 2012 the light bulb will be forbidden by European laws because of it´s inefficient energy use.

art direction; concept breadcrumbs
The residu of food production is used in old and new recipes/products. For
example the waffle ("stroopwafel) was created in 1810 by a baker in Gouda, he used all his left-over breadcrumbs and made a new crispy cook out of it. I use these ideas and recipes for catering.About: "Haags Hopje"
